Waste
Conscious efforts to reduce food and beverage waste.
Careful consideration on menu design and planning to avoid waste each season.
Single-use plastic stirrers/ straws/ beverage bottles/ cups/ cutlery or plates not used.
The Seaweed used in our spa is re-purposed for compost at a local vegetable farm.
Reduction of paper printing and guiding guests to view menus/ brochures online instead.
WaTER
Water efficient toilets designed to reduce the amount of water used
We offer our guests an option to opt out of daily room cleaning.
We replenish supplies of glass bottled drinking water in our guest bedrooms
Option to reuse towels and assist in helping us reduce our carbon footprint.

Majority of food provided at the property is locally sourced within 10 miles or of Irish origin
We grow our own flowers and herbs we use for our food and beverages
Most lighting throughout the hotel uses energy efficient LED bulbs
All windows are double-glazed with exception of four listed sash windows
Offsets a portion of our carbon footprint with our combined heat & power system

We re-invest a percentage of revenue back into community & sustainability projects.

We provide guests with information regarding local ecosystems, heritage and culture.
We explain visitor etiquette and reasons to explore our city by foot.

We always encourage our guests to visit local businesses while in the city.
