Throughout the months of June, July and August we have a complimentary walking tour for our residents of Limerick’s Georgian Quarter leaving reception at 11am every Wednesday. Non residents can join the tour at a cost of €10pp. This bespoke tour is approx 75 minutes long and hosted by a Limerick Civic Trust guide.
The tour meet point is at our hotel reception at No. 1 Pery Square and from there the tour leads to the main Pery Square, The People’s Park, Hartstonge Street, The Crescent and also includes a visit to The People’s Museum of Limerick at No. 2 Pery Square. Visitors will learn about the history of the quarter and hear many a story of times gone past to include Frank McCourts novel & film Angela’s Ashes and other stories of many interesting people who resided in the neighbourhood.
